2010-2011 Parent/Student Handbook
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

OR
         PLAIN BLUE DENIM PANTS
         (no cargos), that are not torn,             frayed, sagging, or                                    embellished with                                       rhinestones, glitter,
         sparkles, etc. (no denim                         shorts, skorts, capris, skirts,
         or jumpers)
             in color with logos no                           larger than 1 inch, with the                 exception of the ACS logo


Wednesday

         (no cargo), skorts,capris, skirts,
         or jumpers

            in color with logos no larger                   than 1 inch, with the                                   exception of the  ACS logo


Friday

                       OR
         PLAIN BLUE DENIM PANTS
         (no cargos), that are not torn,                 frayed, sagging, or embellished              with rhinestones, glitter,
         sparkles, etc. (no denim shorts,              skorts, capris, skirts, or        
          jumpers)




Other general guidelines:

All clothing must fit properly
All shirts must be tucked in at all times
Boots may not be worn on PE days or with shorts/skorts/skirtsor jumpers
Shorts/skorts/skirts/jumpers must be fingertip length or longer
No undergarments may be visible
Girls in PreK3 through 6th grade are not allowed to wear makeup 
Girls in 7th through 12th grade may wear conservative standard makeup
Artificial nails are not allowed in any grades.  Neutral colored nail polish is allowed for girls in 7th through 12th grades
Extreme hairstyles are unacceptable and not allowed.  Extremes will be determined by the Head of School.
No caps, hats, or bandanas are allowed unless approved by the Head of School for special occasions.
Boy’s hair must be neatly groomed in a natural color, clean-cut, trimmed above the eye-brow and earlobes in the front              and above the shirt collar in the back.   
Boys may wear one bracelet, one watch, and one necklace.
Girl’s hair should be neatly groomed in a natural color and should be styled in a manner that clears the eyebrow either               by its cut or fastened by a hair bow or clip that coordinates with their uniform.
Girls may wear one earring per ear in the lower lobe only, one bracelet, one watch, one ring, and one necklace.
No student will be allowed to have visible tattoos or piercings.
