Lisa Montealegre
Guidance Counselor
My journey with Angleton Christian School began many years ago; in the early 2000s, the local churches would gather to pray for the community, first responders, churches, and schools. The churches would gather for a community event called “Church on the Move.”
The community's faith was connected, and hearts were unified for the same vision and mission for our city, our community, and a young school soon to be called ACS. I remember at one of the “Church on the Move” gatherings at First Baptist Church; the vision was shared so we would begin to pray; the vision was stated as to “start a school,” K-4, and add a grade every year until 12th grade. Later, I was hired in 2017 as a contract worker to teach “Worship Development.” It has been a true joy every moment working here at Angleton Christian School; I grow every day!
My husband, Alex, and I pastor La Vida Regional Foursquare Spanish Church and TLC Foursquare
English church. We have served our community as senior pastors for 16 years. Alex and I have been
married for 27 years. I received my Foursquare minister's license in 2006 and was ordained in 2009. My passion is to love others as Jesus loves me.
My life was dramatically transformed on August 26, 1996, when I met the genuine love who would save me from a terrible road. Alex and I have two daughters, Alyssa Arroyos (aka Ms. Alyssa) and Ana
Montealegre. Alyssa and her husband, Justin, minister with us at both churches. They are currently
finishing getting licensed through International Foursquare Gospel to become pastors. Alyssa is a young adult and youth pastor with a master’s degree in church ministry and theology. Ana recently graduated with her bachelor’s in psychology and is working toward her LPC licensing with her master’s.
I am excited to serve you in our new season and journey together. The beautiful lifestyle of ACS is that we can share our faith, keeping Jesus at the center as the root that will bring so much fruit in all our lives.
Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we
do not give up.
