Alexandria Barfield

My name is Alexandria Barfield. This will be my first year teaching at ACS. I feel extremely
grateful to be blessed with this opportunity to teach. I have always had a call toward teaching,
but never felt like it was the right time for me to pursue it. I have spent some time living in
different parts of Texas over the last 7 years. I decided it was time for me to settle down with my
two babies back in my hometown of Angleton Texas. Growing up here I have the luxury of
working alongside some great teachers who had me in Sunday school classes, or classmates I
grew up with. I know that my path was led here for a reason and I am excited to share God’s
word through teaching and help root these children deeper in their faith.
I attended Angleton Schools for a majority of my life, but moved to Brazoswood and received
my High School Diploma from there in 2017. I went off to attend the Dallas community college
circuit and was awarded my associates of science in 2019. Following that I attended Texas
Woman’s University and graduated with my Bachelor of Science with a Minor in Psychology in
2021.
I look forward to meeting and inspiring the young minds that I will encounter this year.
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them - 1 John 4:16
